Lauantaina 8.2.2014 pihaan saapui kauan odotettu kulkurin aihio. Ex Auto Paaske #517 Tanskasta, joka Suomessa on liikkunut Nastolan Tilauskuljetuksen ja Aaro E. Mäkelä Oy:n liikennöimänä. Pieni merenneito on työnimi autolle, jonka jokaisen penkin selkänojassa on pienen merenneito patsaan kuva, sen Köpiksen symbolin, tiedättehän. Tänä vuonna huhtikuussa Pienelle merenneidolle tulee ikää naiselliset 20 vuotta ja kuten tiedämme naisen vanheneminenhan pysähtyy siihen.
Tähän mennessä olen vasta totutellut ajatukseen alkavasta projektista ja kevään päätavoite on saada muutoskatsastettua Merenneidosta matkailuauto. Toinen tämän kevään tavoite on saada autoon 240 voltin syöttö ja äly-ylläpitolaturi-invertteri paikoilleen.
Kuvia tulee kunhan alkuhämmennyksestä toivutaan.

Saturday 8th Feb 2014 I bought a used coach and I'm goint to convert it to motorhome.
History of the coach.
It was made by Carrus in Lieto, Finland at 1994 and it was sold to Copenhagen, Denmark to company called Auto Paaske. In 2000 Nastolan Tilauskuljetus bought it back fo Finland and used it untill autumn 2013 when car was sold to Aaro E. Mäkelä Oy.
There's picture of The Little Mermaid in every seat. That's why I call it "Pieni merenneito".
Chassis type is Carrus Star 701 so it's relatively rare. Star 701 was made total 19 pieces both Scania and Volvo platforms were used. My 701 is Scania.

Repairs 2014:
- ABS fault light was lit all the time. Replaced ABS sensors at front axle. Adjusted sersor distance at rear axle.
- 3 shock absorbers a middle axle were leaking. Changed them.
Built for season 2014:
- Removed most seats. Now there's 8 passenger seats + driver.
- 220V intake and maintenance battery charger.
- 1st version of dinette. Will change.
- 1st version of kitchen. This will change.
- 1st version of sleeping compartment. Propably will change.

Nothing so far
Built for season 2015:
Nothing so far but there are plans for 4kW inverter charger, water systems, bathroom, 2nd version of kitchen and dinette, air sourced heat pump, internal and external LED lights, somekind of marquee.
